area and comfortable lounge are the base
for your holiday. Outside, a quiet terrace
provides an area to relax, enjoy the views
and plan your walks along the sunken lanes
of the Bocage landscape.
The local area boasts an abundance of
wildlife including badgers, deer, hares
and even wild boar. Resident birds close
to the property include barn owls, woodpeckers
and many birds of prey.
In addition to rural attractions, the
area is close to beaches, beautiful historic
towns and has excellent road and rail
links.

Carol with many years'
experience of France will provide you
with good food and accommodation plus
an insight into the local area. Alan,
a qualified historian and keen naturalist
is also available to assist guests wishing to visit the D Day beaches or trace the footsteps of relatives or friends who fought in the Normandy campaign.
